北加州中興大學校友會於八月25號在南灣舉辦年會。國立中興大學的前身是創立於1919年的台灣總督府農林專門學校，是台灣歷史最悠久的研究型大學。北加州中興大學校友會這次特別在年會中，邀請到了正在訪美行程中的薛富盛校長，為校友們簡報校務發展概況，並且進行廣泛交流。
